I abandoned making character bracelets, but I still wanted a way to show my love for loa and reward myself after finishing a campaign.

Didn't really have a set theme, mostly just the colors I first pictured when I think of each character.

Frost- dark green for his robes

Gricko- light green cause he's green

Gideon- red for his skin and also bc fire

Torbek- pink for the witchlight

I remembered when trying to come up with a color scheme that the dimwits all have weird colored eyes. It accidentally ended up looking like the aroace flag, which has a very pretty color scheme.

Explanation below (if you want it)

What I say I am

I’m pretty sure everyone knows these flags but incase you don’t.

The blue and pink flag is the Transgender flag, I am FTM (Female to Male)

The orange and blue flag is the Aroace flag, I experience little to no romantic or sexual attraction.

What I actually am

This is where it might get complicated, I know the majority of people don’t know these flags, so let’s go top to bottom.

The top blue and gray flag is the Gray-AroAce flag,

This means that i am gray-romantic and gray-sexual, however I don’t experience them the same way,

I am gray-romantic in the way I don’t experience romantic attraction very frequently, roughly only twice in my life and I likely won’t hit the double digits for the rest of my life.

I am gray-sexual in the way I do experience sexual attraction but it is extremely weak and can flicker. I don’t quite know if I’d be willing to get intimate with someone but that’s not something you or I need to be worrying about right now.

The second blue and light green flag is the BoyFlux flag, BoyFlux is basically someone being a boy but feeling the intensity of which they are a boy/masculine weaken or strengthen, it’s hard to explain look it up if you want to. I will say, for myself I never reach a fully androgynous gender I am always at least at a Demi-boy range.

The last one and one people tend to misunderstand is the Heteroflexible flag,

This flag is a mircolabel flag, it’s a flag for a bisexual preference, I’m about 81% attracted to women and 19% attracted to men, I say Heteroflexible instead of Bisexual because I just feel like Bisexual doesn’t fully describe who I am even though it is technically correct for me.

This is in conjunction with my Gray-AroAce flag so imagine how hard this was to figure out, basically when I do feel attraction it is through that and to these genders, non-binary people are at a nice middle between men and women for me.

windu's flag (black, grey, white, purple) - asexual (doesn't feel any sexual attraction. basically doesn't like sex)

dooku's flag (green, grey, white, black) - aromantic (the same thing as asexual but doesn't feel romantic attraction!! basically doesn't like romance)

For those of you who don’t know, this is the AroAce flag. Also refer to as the “Sunset flag” by some.  Colour meanings are:

Blue (both): Represent "the aroace identity as well as the spectrum of aroace identities and experiences"

White: Wholeness 

Yellow: “Love and relationships that exist outside of more conventional ideas of romantic and sexual relationships.”

Orange: Community

The Aromantic spectrum (a short version)

(I’ll do a longer one later) (maybe) Obviously, no 2 people are the same, so it makes sense that translates to sexual and gender identity. You may not fit under any of these terms you may fit under a few or maybe you find the one that suits you best! Remember you are valid! <3 I’m always welcome to feedback! If you find that this description isn’t correct, for you or for the community as a whole, let me know! I’ll do another post further explaining it with your help!

This is a short list with explanations of different parts of the Aromantic spectrum.

Aegoromantic

Aegoromantic, (previously known as Autochorisromantic) describes those who enjoy the concept of romance but do not have a desire to participate in romantic activities. 

Aroflux

People who identify as aroflux may experience their romantic orientation as fluctuating between experiencing and not experiencing romantic attraction. 

I.e Some times Yes Romance, sometimes No romance.

Autoromantic

Autoromantic people may elicit romantic attraction from themselves, by themselves. (I’ve been leaning towards this slightly)

Cupioromantic

Cupioromantic describes those who do not experience attraction but do desire a romantic relationship. (Another one I lean towards)

Demiromantic

Demiromantic describes people who do not experience romantic attraction until they have formed a deep emotional connection with someone. (According to most definitions)

Desinoromantic

Desinoromantic people do not experience "full-on" romantic attraction, but do experience "liking" someone instead of loving them romantically. (This can be confusing, I’ll do more on this most likely)

Grayromantic

Grayromantic includes (but is not limited to) people who feel very low amounts of romantic attraction, rarely feel romantic attraction, only feel romantic attraction under specific circumstances, or are not sure if they experience romantic attraction. It is usually be considered a romantic equivalent to gray-asexuality. 

This is just a short list, there are many more terms and sexualitys to add. If you want one in particular, let me know!

Are you having trouble figuring out if your asexual, Aromantic or both? Here are some signs to look for!

(You don’t have to have all or any of these signs to be ace, aro or aroace, these are just some hints to help, hell you don’t have to relate to any! Your always valid!)

Asexual

You may have little to no interest in sex or intimacy

You may find others attractive but not be attracted to them

You might enjoy platonic to slightly less platonic (kissing or more) but not want to go further

You may not being intrested in the whole “sexy” thing

Aromantic

You may not find the idea of romantic relationships appealing to you

You may have trouble relating to or understanding media and more about love.

You might have a physical attraction to people but you might not develop a crush on them

You may also present as not understanding why people behave they way they do when "in love" (This was a big on for me)

You might not find any or most romantic plots in books/movies/media interesting or needed (another big one for me)

My Personal Pride Flag

I saw a post on Instagram that was one of those make your own pride flag posts that are like add this colour stripe if you have x identity and decided to make a flag that represents me and as many of the facets of my queer identity as possible so here it is!

Explanation of meaning below the cut!

Light Orange: This is the midpoint of the pink and yellow in the Queerplatonic flag to show the importance of my queerplatonic attraction and relationships

Blue: This is one of the stripes from the Oriented Aroace flag that in that flag represents affiliation with the wider arospec and acespec communities which I'm using to represent my place on these spectrums (and account for fluctuating identity that remains on these spectrums)

Grey: This is the grey from the Ace flag but I’m mainly using it to show the grey areas of my identity and figuring myself out but also not quite neatly fitting into labels or boxes. Also, I’m currently identifying as grey ace so that fits

White Circle and the Black: So this is a little more complicated. This is meant to be reminiscent of the Voidpunk symbol and philosophy which essentially is about embracing the nonhuman-ness society makes people who do not fit into societal norms feel (eg. aroace people, ND people, nonbinary people etc). I feel like my gender fits in this nebulous void segment as my gender is simply me and not tangentially related to anything. However, this symbol is colour swapped from the voidpunk flag and is actually those of the Lovepunk flag

Lovepunk is about rejecting societal norms around love, gender, attraction, orientation, and relationships and how these should be done which I do in my polyamorous and queerplatonic relationships as well as like valuing my friendships more than society tells me I should and creating relationships with freedom and versatility. In the lovepunk flag the white circle represents community and the black represents 'lack of attraction and the "lacking something", how rejecting love is often perceived'

I am using the white circle to represent this but also the singularity at the core of my being -all of my parts adding together to make me as a whole. I'm using the black to represent both of these subcultures as well as the void in general and my embracing this. Also, the black and white look nice together and it's like balance or something

So there you have it! My own personal pride flag! I'm pretty happy with it even if the blue and orange don't quite go together I'm not a graphic designer and have very limited artistic ability so shhh. And yes, I am aware it looks like a Pokeball -_-

Hello! I’m sorry to bother you, but I’ve been noticing a lot of an orange and blue flag on a lot of aro blogs recently, and they seem to be your oriented aroace flag. This was entirely new to me. I can’t seem to find any info anywhere on the flag anywhere and I’d like to learn about it. Is it similar to the one that’s just shades of blue or is it different somehow? Thanks!

It’s different! It’s not an oriented aroace flag, it’s a general aroace flag that I made because I don’t like the way that most aroace flags that exist imply a split between aromanticism and asexuality when I experience my orientation as one cohesive thing, hence the use of blue (a color in between green and purple on the color wheel) rather than both green and purple.
